Who we are

AugerVault LLC ("AugerVault", "we", "us") operates the website at augervault.com and rents foundation drilling tooling in South Florida. Our registered address is Miami, FL. Questions about this policy can be directed to privacy@augervault.com.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to do business with you.

Information you provide

• Quote & booking forms: name, company, phone, email, rental dates, pickup or delivery address, and any project details you choose to share.
• Payment information: processed directly by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Communications: emails, calls, and texts you send us are retained for account and support purposes.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. Retained for 30 days for security and troubleshooting.
• Cookies: a minimal set used to maintain your booking session. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use your information

• Fulfill rentals and deliveries you request
• Respond to quote requests and service inquiries
• Process payments and apply account credit
• Send booking confirmations, QR codes, and rental reminders
• Comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations
• Improve the site and diagnose technical issues

We do not use your data for behavioral advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

Third-party processors

We use a small number of trusted processors to operate the site. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Netlify — website hosting and form submissions
• Google Fonts — font delivery (subject to Google's privacy policy; no tracking cookies are set by this embed)
• A payment processor (Stripe or equivalent) for card transactions

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Data retention

• Quote requests without a rental: retained for 12 months, then deleted
• Completed rentals: retained for 7 years to comply with Florida tax and accounting rules
• Server logs: 30 days
• Email correspondence: retained for the life of the account plus 2 years

Your rights

Regardless of state of residence, you can:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated personal data (subject to our legal retention obligations)
• Opt out of non-essential communications at any time

Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We limit internal access to personal data to employees who need it to do their jobs. That said, no system is perfectly secure — if you suspect a breach of your information, please contact us immediately.

Children

This site is intended for commercial customers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be announced on this page.
